Where to Park a Large Van in Detroit Michigan – Oversized Van Parking
When traveling around Detroit Michigan in a full-size passenger van, these parking locations offer convenient access to several key areas.
For trips through Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW), surface lots work well for airport arrivals and departures.
Visitors heading toward downtown Detroit or the Renaissance Center can use open surface parking nearby.
If Windsor Canada or the Ambassador Bridge is on your itinerary, you can find open air parking to fit tall vans at 3400 W Jefferson Ave, Detroit, MI 48216, see details here.
Because our 12- and 15-passenger Sprinter vans are approximately 9–10 feet tall, surface lots are the preferred option. Avoid garages and other facilities with limited height clearance.
